I will share 37 travel hacks for packing a carryon bag for the airplane, for the hotel, and for the airport. This is a long list of tips and tricks I have been gathering for 2 years of travel so these will help you. will a 30L backpack be too big for carry on, as I have to use one crutch.
I always carry sports tape for blisters. Travel with old socks and PJ’s. Throw them away at the end of the trip. Also, slip a rubber band around the passport book spine. Fold visas and insert under rubber band so you don’t lose them. Hot pink tape on black travel items so I can see them if they fall on the floor of the plane.

15:50 some airports take solid soaps they did that in Kuwait international Airport although I take one with me before in the same airport so I don't know they also took my hot chocolate mix which was powder anyone know why🤔

Do face wipes count as a liquid? I would love to take my face wipes, deodorant wipes, and make up remover wipes instead of bottles of liquids.
I ordered one of these Bento Bags when they first came out. Love it!!! Super convenient and organized. I only wish it had wheels, but what I do is slip it over my small wheely-cosmetics case, while doing a weekend vacation some- wherrrz😁

I have tiny LED flashlights I have an on off switch. I put them on the key hook inside every bag.

Clothespins for the curtains, always take a small flashlight or even better a head lamp, esp in foreign countries.
Been traveling for many years…one tip that may help some is: If the resort room/suite we are lodging at has basic shampoo, conditioner, shavers, soap n toothbrushes/tooth[aste…I save room by NOT brigning any of those items! I can go to cancun for a week with a carry on and a cross body purse:) I take half the clothes I need…use the laundry service at resort (usually cost around $12-15) …wear the items a second time:) Saves me so much packing and worrying. *I do always take a simple dolla tree nightlight

For a door stop: there is a battery operated one with an alarm. I have a couple of them.

I use ziplock bags a lot for jewelry and even for clothes (versus packing cubes). Always carry spoons too.

Thank you for all of your tips. Some wonderful ideas. My Travel Hack: I place my carry on in a plastic garbage bag before placing it under the seat. I don't close the bag so I can still get into it. I pull the garbage bag around my carry on when I put my feet on it. I discard the bag when I reach my distination and arrive with a clean carry on.

I tried so many backpacks for traveling (not for hiking). I didn't like that they tended to collapse into themselves or fall over when free standing, or that everything fell to the bottom and I could not find what I was looking for. One day I was at target trying to find something better than what I had when I came across the baby aisle. It was then I discovered that what I was looking for was a diaper bag! I found that the storage and pockets made so much sense, it was available in adult colors, and it stood up on its own. This is now my new travel best friend.
Tip: I couldn’t find actual shower caps anywhere (for packing my shoes in so the soles don’t get packed clothes dirty). But at Sally’s Beauty Supply I found a bag of 30 clear hair covers (that salons use for some coloring processes) for about $3.
